| When it comes to bizarre compulsive behavior,
we think you'll agree that Chick McGee is on the cutting edge.
His love of shoes, (edgy depressing singer) Ryan Adams, and Washingtion
Redskins paraphanalia is unrivaled. Now you can join Chick and
come out of the collector's closet by sharing your crazy collections
of eBay gems, garage sale steals and seemingly worthless inheritances
by submitting a photo of your Crazy Collection for public view
on this page. Sure, we'll probably think you're weird and eccentric,
but it's all in good fun! Send your photo and a description of
your collection to bobandtom@bobandtom.com. |

Bob, Tom, Chick, and Kristi -
Just looking at all of the pictures of different collections
that everyone has sent in and felt very moved to send you mine.
I just graduated college in May and have been working in Des
Moines for the last five months and every day I go to work
I make sure that there is at least one Red Bull energy drink
in my bag. There is well over 75 cans of Red Bull, (small and
tall), and a number of AMP energy drinks. Needless to say I
have not had a day where I have been tired at work. Let's not
forget that these are only the ones I have drank at my job.
I have to drink something to make myself do taxes everyday!!
And just one more note, there is over 250 dollars sitting in
the picture and the deposit on each one will surely get me
at least enough money for two more cans of Red Bull someday!!
Thanks.

This is our collection of Richard Nixon wax heads. We think
everyone in
America should own at least one Nixon candle. How many do you
have? We have
over a dozen. This makes us better than you. By the way my wick
is not lit.
Jamie from Grand Rapids, MI
P.S. We have a letter of resignation from each head. |

Bob, Tom, Kristi and what's his name,
This is my beer can collection that I've had since the mid 70's. There's
about 800 on display here, since I don't have the wall space
for all 2000 cans I have. Beer can collecting
was fairly popular back in the seventies, but hardly anyone keeps
them now.

Howdy Guys, I have been listening to your station whenever
I need a good laugh in the morning and I heard that you are looking
for strange collectables, well here is mine. In my job over the
past 10 years or so, I have collected enough staples that have
been removed from paper documents to fill this gallon jug. I
cannot guess on how many staples are in there but there is approx.
10 lbs. so go figure. All of the staples that have been collected
are the standard size that were once used in a regular stapler. Who
say’s you cannot have fun working inside all day or should
I say - go crazy!

Dear Bob and Tom Show,
I know that a jar full of toe nails is going to be a hard act
to follow, but here is my attempt to get the Crazy Collector's
Corner of your web site back on track.
This is just some of my collection of mini football helmets and
other football related memorabilia. In the picture, you can see
helmets from the Canadian Football League, the 1983-85 United
States Football League, the 2001 XFL, NFL Europa and the
Arena Football League as well as college and other various helmets.
It is my way of keeping alive the memory of some of the teams
and leagues that have come and gone over the years. I currently
have over 130 mini helmets in my collection, which is growing
all the time. (As you can see, I also have my name spelled out
in the top two rows of the center section using all college football
helmets)
The shelf units are actually made to hold music CDs, but they
work perfectly for displaying mini helmets. You can also see
a “drinking” helmet on the floor, which holds a couple
of beverage cans, and some footballs from various leagues. Along
the top of the shelves are Pocket Pro mini helmets from
various CFL and college teams. There is also a football
player lamp, with gridiron shade, helmets with logos of the Pro
Football Hall of Fame and Super Bowl XL, both still in the box,
and a miniature replica of the CFL Grey Cup trophy.

Hi there, I was just listening to a song called keeping your
poop in a jar and your website was at the end of it so I had
a look and found you wanted crazy collections, so here's mine.
I was cutting my toenails one night and I lined up the clipping
on the arm of the lounge chair and when I got up I must have
bumped them and they fell on the floor, when the Mrs got up in
the middle of the night to go to the toilet she stepped on them
in her bare feet and got a puncture so the next morning she went
off her face at me and told me to clean them up. When I went
to pick them up there was an empty jar close by so I threw them
into the jar and I have been doing it now for 30 years. So, here
is my 30 year toenail collection.

You guys rock! Here's my contribution to Chick's
Crazy Collections. I have been a collector of Classic Video Games
for over 15 years. My collection revolves around the three big
consoles of the 1980's: Atari, Colecovision, and Intellivision.
I have about 200 complete boxed cartridges for those systems
as well as a dozen battery powered tabletop arcade games (a few
are in the picture), lots of memorabilia from the era of Classic
Games (toys, posters, arcade tokens, books, magazines, etc.),
two full sized arcade games, an Atari 800XL computer setup, and
a Commodore 64 setup. After all these years, the games are still
fun to play!
You guys are the highlight of my morning!

Thoroughly enjoy your show! I have attached a pic of my only
collection that will fit on one picture. These fish have come
from my travels as well as online, so who knows what fridge they
have swam on? I have been assured they all practice safe swimming.
To help babysit these, I have nearly 200 glass fish paperweights.
And finally, I have 77 lighthouse reproductions. Probably time
to become an online seller.

Bob and Tom... You guys ROCK!
Here's my collection. I collect traffic lights. As you can see,
they come in many varieties and sizes. I couldn't fit everything
in the picture,
as I also have the actual controllers that make them work. There
are others like me with even neater collections. Some of them
have
what I currently only plan on having... A permanent display in
their yard.
Notice the small one I'm holding? I'm trying to make a light
in tribute to the greatest football team on the planet, The Indianapolis
Colts.
Who knows, I might even make a light the reads:
BOB
AND
TOM
You guys may have always wanted to see your name in lights...
Well, that's the best I can offer.

This is a photo of my slingshot collection taken in 1999. Since
that time I have added a hundred or two new items to the collection.
I started buying slingshots in 1966 and was hunting for the “perfect
slingshot”. By the time I had over 25 to 30 slingshots,
I realized I was collecting them. While I haven’t found
the “perfect slingshot” I have located quite a few
contenders. Besides collecting slingshots, I do a lot of shooting.
In 1976 I started the Summer Nationals Slingshot Tournament.
It was held annually from 1976 until 1988. The tournament was
revived in 2000 and has been held every summer since then. I
also have a web site where you can find out more about the sport
of slingshots.

| Attached is an image of a representative portion
of my collection of "pocket" calculating devices. I
have included slide rules, scientific calculators, and two mechanical
calculators: the Arithma Addiator and Curta Calculator
which operate on a similar principle. Oh, and by the way, I actually
know how to operate each of these devices. Anonymous |

Hey there Bob and Tom (and Chick and Kristie)...
I heard your show this morning requesting photos of peoples collections
and decided to send some pics of my stuff in for your approval.
I consider myself a super collector and some would say that I
have OCD (obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Thats kind of ironic
because I work as a mental health therapist counseling people
on the problems including OCD.
I currently collect memorabillia from the tv show 'The Simpsons'.
I have over 11000 different Simpsons Collectibles in my collection
and actually operate a Simpsons Museum in my home in which I
give tours and talk about interesting and unusual items such
as the Simpsons Condoms- shaped like the heads of Bart and Maggie,
Krusty the clown Bong, and Bart Chop sticks. Of course the condoms
are unathorized items and clearly states on the bottom of the
package 'for novelty use only'. Last year I purchased
an old car dealership that I am renovating into an extreme home
complete with revolving door, outhouse bath, theater bus, and
Car lift bedroom. My full size Simpsons school bus
is parked inside my home and features a theater with a full
size Homer driving the bus, and bart and lisa manequins sitting
in theater seats watching the big screen plasma tv.
With the recent release of the Simpson's Movie, I have been busy
collecting all the new items that are flooding the market including
going to Burger King for breakfast everyday to make sure the
Manager saves all the Simpsons advertising stuff and toys for
me.
I have gained over 15 pounds!! Do'H!!!
Love your show but I can't access your website on my computer
at work because they consider it 'adult material' and automatically
flag your site. They gave me a verbal warning last month about
logging onto your site or maybe its because I spent 14 hours
on it during the month. Who knows, all I know for sure is that
they can't control the public air waves-(radio), so I will continue
to be a faithful listener...
P.S....
I now use "go to my PC" to access my home computer
and your site (among others)...
PSS.. Keep up the great work and tell Chick he should name his
Shoe collection the 'Shoe-seum'.
Sincerely, Laine Henson (a.k.a. Homer Simpson) |

Hey Bob and Tom!
You guys rock! Heard about the Chick's crazy collection corner
and just had to submit mine. I'm a baker by profession, but
my true passion is "Happy Days," you know The Fonz,
Richie, Potsie, etc. My collection started in the 3rd grade
when I was 9. I'm now 21 and my collection has gone from one
black and white picture to over 400 pieces of memorablia. Two
rooms plus the basement of my house are filled with Happy Days
items. My parents, boyfriend and friends actually look for
items to give me for Christmas, Birthday or any other occasion
that comes along. My collection ranges from button and necklaces
to gaint posters and all the action figures. My rarest and
most prized item (besides the picture of Henry Winkler
with me) is the Happy Days pinball machine that still
works. My friends think I'm such a nerd when it comes to the
show, but my knowledge proved best this year when I won the
Happy Days International Trivia Contest! Yes there is such
a thing! So here some pictures of my collection! Just remember
this is only about 1/8 of my collection! Hope
you like it! Love your show; my boyfriend and I listen every
day!
Always Baking,

Dear Bob and Tom:
You guys rock! I just wanted to include a picture of my collection of BASSES.
I am the bass player in the Air Force Band OF Flight in Dayton Ohio. Today
is my last day of work because I am retiring after 24 years of service all
in the Band. I did have the greatest job as a bass player, I guess now I will
be delivering pizzas! This picture was taken a few years ago and I have more
basses now! My wife just shakes her head and just doesn't understand.

Bob Tom Kristy Chick you guys rock. Wanted to submit my collection,
since I don't know anyone personally who has one. It started
as a souvenir from a friend back in 1985 and has escalated to
close to 300 in all varieties shapes and sizes. I collect Frisbees.
I have one whole wall in one of my bedrooms just for my Frisbees.
They are not as popular as a souvenir as they used to be so when
I come across a cool one it is mine. I now have all my friends
and family in search of one when they are on vacation or just
out and about. The wall consist of ones I have received from
a vacation destination or new ones i've gotten. I have about
50 displayed on the wall and the rest in boxes or shelves. I
have sodas,beers,sports teams,motorcycle makers,cereals,chips,large
companies and news and radio stations(I would LOVE to have one
from you guys, it would certainly go on the wall) I even have
a couple that look like cow pies. I took a picture for ya, hope
ya like it. love your show keep up the good work.

| Comedian Matt Weinhold shows off his "impressive" collection
of sci-fi memorabilia, and in doing so proves that he's just
like Chick, except he doesn't like shoes, sports or Ryan Adams. Oh,
and he's obviously a huge nerd. |
